Philippines Diary: Palawan

After all the entertainment we had in Boracay, we decided that we needed something more quiet and relaxing, so we flew to Palawan. We stayed at the Amazing Villa in Puerto Princessa which is a beautiful summer house in a spectacular location overlooking the South China Sea.
We were so lucky to find this place. Everything was perfect... this of course, after getting over the shock that we didn't have any WiFi or phone signal. But you know what they say: There is now wi-fi in the woods (in our case, in the tropical forest) but I promise you will find a better connection. And so we did...
We've met some incredible people. Our host, Theresa, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel very welcome and treated us not only as guests, but as close friends. She is also an amazing cook and we very much enjoyed all kind of delicious, healthy and traditional dishes prepared by her. At the end of the day we always felt very pampered, happy and relaxed. And how could we not? We had our own private beach, a big beautiful room with an amazing view, private staff, great healthy food and a lovely host. What's not to love about this place?
Spending our days on the beach, just the two of us, was heavenly.... Very blue lagoon  style I might say. Sitting together on a hammock, looking for seashells, lying in the sun and jumping into the waves this is my idea of happiness. I simply couldn't ask for more. ^_^
