A Year In Pictures: 2016

I love going through photos and remembering all the happy times... For a tiny moment I am back there...
As per usual, I will not do the new resolution bullshit (excuse my unladylike language) because I don't believe in that. I do, however, believe in constant development, in evolution, in change... as long as we don't forget who we really are and where we started.
It's funny how I can look back a year ago and realize how much has changed... I've "conquered" new territories, I've overcome fears and learned some lessons, I took some risks, I've met extraordinary people, I've created new relationships and managed to maintain the important old ones... Overall, it was an amazing year... Now, don't get me wrong, I have my fair share of crazy, stupid decisions... Life would be boring without those. Even so, I still have so much more to learn and to experience.
2016 was a year of surprises... mostly because of the people who have taught me a very important thing:  Where there's a will, there's a way.
That being said, I will let you get ready for a lovely New Years Eve, wherever you are and whatever you are doing, just be with people who matters.
Lots of hugs, kisses and peace of mind for the year to come.

Always happy in Vienna

I love going back to places where I was extremely happy and Vienna is definitely one of them.
First time here, about 4 years ago, I was mesmerized, crazy excited and absolutely in love...
I still remember my surprise when I saw these beautiful people going out for dinner. all dressed up... And when I say dressed up, I mean classy evening dresses, suit and tie. I was thinking back then: "It would be lovely to live in a place where people dress like this just to go for dinner".
Someone recently told me: "I don't know why, but there some places you can associate people with... And I think this might be your match." How can I disagree with such a wonderful thought?
I carry with me all the good memories, the peace of mind and the joy I felt there... Vienna will always be close to my heart.

There's something about Seattle...

Next on my US Series: the Seattle adventure.
I heard so many lovely things about this city therefore my excitement was over the roof when I landed here. I couldn't wait to leave my suitcase and explore this new territory.
There is something about Seattle... something I can't really explain, a certain feeling, fresh  atmosphere, good karma in the air... I tent to fall in love with cities that bring me great vibes... and this time I was hooked. Seattle is my new Lalaland.
I am not a morning person, but I really didn't mind having a super early (7 AM) breakfast in a refreshing place like Bacco Cafe.... Especially if Mimosas are involved... Yes, I said Mimosas for breakfast, don't judge me. :P So after this and the best crab eggs benedict I've ever tasted, I was all happy (no wonder) and ready to start the day. First stop: Pike Place Market for some fresh... everything.
Now I might have been  a little bit brainwashed by Grey's Anatomy, but I have this thing with ferries... So obviously I wanted to take one and go look for McDreamy, ha ha. :)) Because of this brilliant idea of mine,  I ended up in one of the most adorable little towns I've ever seen: Bainbridge Island.  Here I spent half on the time wandering around, taking photos, having tea and homemade pastries in cute coffee shops and the other half shopping in this Vintage Boutique I randomly found.
Going back to Seattle I started daydreaming about the beautiful and simple life I could have here, close to nature, taking the ferry every day to my art related job... I am a romantic, I know :))
Next on my list was lunch at HomeGrown  and lovely visit to the Seattle Art Museum for the Yves Saint Laurent Exhibition.
I don't think there is any point in telling you about the shopping places and how many coffees I've had considering I am an addict and there is a Starbucks on every corner... literally.
Btw, I couldn't find McDreamy this time so I guess I will have to come back soon
